It's hard after this election fiasco to declare victory isn't it? But the plain fact is that we have an overwhelming victory. More like a decisive final nail in the coffin of faith in the Republican Party. I've heard 'fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me', and yet shame is smeared all over our face for believing once again that somehow that party actually stood for our values. What a joke! Is any true conservative fooled any longer? Will any of us be witless pawns of their political pocketbook poaching ever again?
What fellowship does light have with darkness? This crowd in their dark blue suits with white shirts and red ties has no true understanding of the values embraced by the red, white and blue. They are a bunch of blue blooded, country club weeds, choking out the best and brightest conservative values with the thorns of compromise. We can no longer go quietly into their hallowed halls of ballot worship and think we can be at peace with our Creator. They lost this election because they treated conservatives like trailer trash at a five star resort. We were unwanted and only needed for our votes, our pocket change, and our smiling faces waving McCain/Palin signs as if they were the best our people had to offer up on the altar of public service.
McCain is a great man and no one can doubt his integrity, and few can match his courage. And Sarah is the darling we all clung to hoping in our darkest thoughts that the old man would die a week in office so we could secure a moral stronghold on the highest office in the greatest land in the world outside of Israel. What is that? How have we grovelled so low? Are the King's children left scratching at the confetti strewn floor for tiny morsels of integrity with such a dirty conscience? Heaven forbid.
We have the victory now. We are no longer disillusioned. We can finally pick ourselves up off the field of dreams and build a dream of our own choosing. When I lived at home I dared not tell dad how to run his house, and so too we conservatives can't tell the boys in blue suits how they must embrace us and place us on a pedestal in their hallowed white washed mausoleums. We must build on our own house. When the enemy fills in our wells we must dig and dig deep searching for the coldest water to refreshen our partisan parched palates. We have the audacity to hope because we cling to the Rock that holds us fast in the fiercest torrents.
No good man stays down forever. If there is a country left in four years, then we will shine. Even a light hidden under a basket will shine when the darkness is this thick. But we the children of light must not hide. We must not cower or beg for morsels ever again. We must be bold as lions and stand up tall and proud knowing who we follow. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in high places. Finally the bell has rung, the match is over and we have won. It may not look like it now, but in four years the world will see the true character of the brightest and best America has to offer, if we choose to stand. If we choose to unite not around a failed party of fat old men in moderate attire, but around the cross and the blood that sets us free from the constraints of man's design. We must build a party and choose leaders of character, and integrity who share our values. I choose the Constitution Party to start afresh. I choose to abandon the Republican Party and it's tired old men who have no fresh ideas and can't relate to real people. The people of purpose, the people of faith are no longer guided to vote from fear. We will choose the right people who fear God first and love country more than their comfortable lives. We can not sit this one out. We must capture each and every election and bring change one man, one woman at a time. The time is now the victory is ours. Thank God we are free at last!
